The 1994 season saw the Hawks continue their trend of solid performances, finishing with a 13-13 record. They once again secured a playoff spot but were eliminated in the quarterfinals by Melbourne.

 

Melvin Thomas continued to be a standout player, earning MVP honors for the club. The Hawks maintained their reputation as a competitive team, though they were still searching for the breakthrough that would take them deeper into the playoffs.
